Christian McGowan earns NJCAA Region II Pitcher of the Week honors

Eastern Oklahoma State College sophomore Christian McGowan has earned his first Pitcher of the Week honors for the season. He was named the NJCAA Region II Pitcher of the Week for Feb. 17-23, 2020. This is the second straight week an Eastern baseball player has earned the distinction.

McGowan is a right-handed pitcher from Bokchito, Okla. Through three games, McGowan has pitched 18 innings with 35 strikeouts and a 1.00 earned-run average. McGowan has only allowed five hits, four walks and two runs so far this season.
