Nate Ackenhausen earns NJCAA Region 2 Pitcher of the Week honors

Eastern Oklahoma State College sophomore Nate Ackenhausen has earned his first Pitcher of the Week award for the season. He was named the NJCAA Region 2 Pitcher of the Week for March 7-13, 2022. He is the second Eastern baseball player to earn the distinction so far this season.

Ackenhausen is a left-handed pitcher from Owasso, Okla. In four appearances, Ackenhausen has pitched 21.1 innings with 44 strikeouts and a 1.69 earned-run average. He has allowed 13 hits, 6 runs, while only giving up 4 walks so far this season.
