Kaylea Underwood Earns First NJCAA Region 2 Pitcher of the Week Honors of Season

Eastern Oklahoma State College freshman Kaylea Underwood has earned her first NJCAA Region 2 Pitcher of the Week award for the season.

Underwood is a right-handed pitcher from Poteau, Okla. In 6 appearances, she has pitched 27.2 innings with 16 strikeouts and a 1.52 earned-run average. She has allowed just 23 hits and 6 earned runs, while only giving up 6 walks so far this season.
