Kalleigh Budd Earns First NJCAA Region 2 Pitcher of the Week Honors of Season

Eastern Oklahoma State College freshman Kalleigh Budd has earned her first NJCAA Region 2 Pitcher of the Week award for the season.

Budd is a right-handed pitcher from Fletcher, Okla. In 25 appearances, she has pitched 121.1 innings with 87 strikeouts and a 2.42 earned-run average.

In Week 13, Budd made three appearances and earned wins in each. She posted seven strikeouts while only giving up 14 hits and two walks over 15.2 innings.
