Maisie Wells Earns NJCAA Region 2 Player of the Week Honors

Eastern Oklahoma State College outfielder Maisie Wells has earned her first Player of the Week award for the season. She was named the NJCAA Region 2 Player of the Week for Week 13. This is the third such award for an Eastern softball player this season.

Wells is a sophomore from Vian, Okla. Through 50 games this season, she has a .448 batting average with 5 home runs, 38 RBIs, and 54 runs scored.

In Week 13, Wells posted a .363 batting average with 4 RBIs, two home runs, two doubles and eight runs scored. She also drew four walks.
