Eastern Women's Basketball Picked to Repeat as OCAC Champions
The Eastern women's basketball team was picked No. 1 in the 2021 Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference Preseason Poll, as voted on by the league's head coaches.
The Lady Mountaineers look to build off of the program's most successful season since 2001, in which head coach Al Davis led the team to its first Region 2 regular season and tournament championships in more than 20 years. Eastern also made the NJCAA Tournament for the first time since 2001
Eastern's first game of the 2021-2022 season tips off Sunday, Oct. 3, in an exhibition match at the Coffeyville Jamboree in Coffeyville, Kan.
